A Multitude of Casualties

The Ravens begin basketball practice. New team captain Nathan clashes with Lucas over Haley, and a new cheerleader sets her sights on Lucas. Elsewhere, Dan's mayoral bid takes a surprising turn when an unlikely opponent emerges: Karen.

An Attempt To Tip the Scales

It's Halloween in Tree Hill and everybody is celebrating at Tric, with special guest band Fall Out Boy. The masquerade ball gives the opportunity to Haley to win back Nathan, while Brooke is trying to seduce Lucas. Also, Peyton decides to face her new mother and get to know her. Meanwhile, Dan uses blackmail to become mayor but things don't turn out as easy as he thought they would when Deb gets in his way.

First Day On A Brand New Planet

It seems everyone in Tree Hill has something shocking to share: Nathan tells Haley he might want a divorce, Lucas admits to Dan that he saved his life, and Peyton finds out a secret Ellie's been keeping. Brooke decides to celebrate the start of senior year by hosting an end-of-summer bash at the beach. But not everyone's in the mood to party. Nathan has finally come home from basketball camp, but he makes it clear to Haley that he isn't ready to come home to her. Meanwhile, Peyton reels from the news of her adoption and Lucas tries to cope with Brooke's new rules for dating.

Season 3 Love You Like An Arsonist

After the fire that destroyed his dealership, Dan's fate hangs in the balance. Did he survive? And if so, will he seek vengeance on those who plotted to destroy him, even if that person turns out to be his first-born son? And Dan isn't the only one in torment. Besides coping with his father's attack, Nathan must deal with Haley's reappearance in Tree Hill and the future of their relationship. Meanwhile, Lucas looks forward to seeing Brooke after a summer apart, and Peyton searches for the truth about the mysterious woman claiming to be her mother.

And at the climax of Dan's numerous deceptions someone sets the dealership on fire... with him in it.

The Tide That Left and Never Came Back

In the first part of the two-hour season finale, things heat up between Lucas and Brooke after they head to New York for an overnight stay with Haley. Peyton is elated when she gets Jimmy Eat World to perform at TRIC just in time for Jake's release from jail. Meanwhile, Andy invites Karen to spend the summer with him in New Zealand.


Whitey offers Nathan a spot on high flyers.
